Thanks the weekend went excellently and everything went smoothly with the help of the technicians.
Both of the technicians were fantastic, nothing was an issue for them and we could relax knowing that we could send the presenters in their direction and everything would be dealt with in a way that looked effortless and be ready in time for the presentation.
We are so pleased that we were able to have a technician during the day as well as at the awards dinner.

I would like to add that Cameron was terrific to deal with. I really appreciated that everything was set up when we got there, that there were no difficulties with the media we had selected (Prezi) and that Cameron really listened to the speaker and responded with the right slides. In fact when one of our speakers made a mistake in their presentation Cameron went back to the appropriate slides so he could get started again. That was brilliant for me and seamless to the audience. Well done Cameron!

From EMANZ POV, as I mentioned, I thought the setup at Mac's was great (and the single main screen and draping was very effective even with 135 in the room cabaret style!). Rowan and Cameron were very helpful, obliging and responsive to last minute requests! It was great having both there to manage the parallel streams. The sound and visuals were very clear and worked well in the two spaces during the parallel streams, even with the divider doors open.
I thought your prices were very competitive, I'd certainly recommend AV Media to others.
Just wanted to say a Big Thank You! To you both and to your team, your professionalism and calm approach was appreciated, as I shifted the goal posts! The feedback from delegates that I have had so far – and there has been an unusually large amount – has all been positive. Not only about the conference content (although I am personally very satisfied that all feedback indicates that everyone found the seminars challenging, stimulating and encouraging and the social side, thoroughly enjoyable) but equally for the venue, the facilities and the staff.
And it’s the latter that’s mainly why I write this email. To thank you and all the Rydges staff we dealt with before and especially during the conference for your professionalism, helpfulness, prompt replies etc etc. They were all most appreciated. It gave me as the organiser a lot of confidence that all was going to be just fine. And it was! But it was during the conference that I and those helping me (especially the 3 Jays, aka ARPA’S Angels!) were most impressed with the people we dealt with.
Yourself, Sam, Ruj (spelling?), Carl (and Emma), the chefs and his/her assistants, the staff that assisted during the dinner… I can honestly say you and they were the most helpful, pleasant, willing and able people I have dealt with or experienced at a conference (and I’ve been to a few of them in my lifetime). I’d be very surprised if from among you and your team there are not a few top managers in the hospitality industry in years to come.
You all give the genuine impression you enjoy your work and that nothing was too much trouble. You all really helped enhance our delegates’ conference experience. And your chef’s sumptuous in-house-cooked hot biscuits were a winner!
So my very sincere thanks to you and all your excellent team (sorry if I’ve missed naming some but I mean ALL of them). They all helped so much to make our Wellington conference one of the best, if not the best ever!
